“I gave Children’s Chestal to my son because he had a sore throat and a cough for a few days. He said he really liked the taste, which was a shock because he hates the taste of most medicines that I give to him. It also helped him a lot, after about the second dose. I was really happy with the results. He had been sick off and on for a couple of weeks, and this seemed to really kick that last bit of roughness out of his throat. I think that the price is reasonable too. I have paid much more for other medicines and have not had good results. I would definitely recommend this product.—Alissia M., Elizabethtown, Pa.
“My little girl gets a really bad cough every winter, complete with a runny nose and sleepless nights full of worrisome, croupy or hacking coughs. She absolutely hates cough syrup and honestly, most of the over-the-counter or prescription cough syrups don’t do any good anyway. Plus, there aren’t many that I would give her because of the side effects and the rash of recalls last year. Luckily, I had a bottle of Children’s Chestal to try out when my little one got sick this week. Not only did she take it without putting up a fight, but it actually soothed her throat and relieved her cough. I didn’t even think that was possible after all the cough syrups we’ve tried, but honestly, the Chestal worked. It is the first product we have found that does work for my little darling! I am so happy that we finally found a product that soothes her nighttime cough. Now we will both get some sleep this fall and winter!”—Bridget B., Bessemer, Ala.
“When it comes to choosing a remedy for any symptom my kids may be experiencing, the number one priority for me is the taste. Is it something my kids will actually take? If I have to fight them to take it, then what good is it, right? If they won’t take the medicine, there is zero chance of it helping them. The next priority is, obviously, the effectiveness. There is no point to giving my child a medication if it is isn’t changing the way they feel. My son took the Children’s Chestal without a single grimace! As directed, I administered the Chestal every two hours, and after a couple of doses, I realized I wasn’t hearing my little guy cough quite as often. More importantly, his little voice was not as hoarse from irritation. By the third day, his coughs were so few and far between we stopped giving him doses altogether. I am very pleased with how Children’s Chestal helped to relieve my son’s cough. I am even happier that it was pleasant enough that my son never once turned away from the spoon when it was time for a dose.”—Gineen C., Riverview, Fla.
